WHAT WENT RIGHT: Won consecutive races at Richmond and Bristol ... Won Richmond after a last-lap pass of teammate Kyle Busch ... Advanced all the way to the championship round of the Chase ... Won at Texas in the Chase after the race was shortened for rain ... One of two Joe Gibbs Racing drivers to make the Chase finale.

WHAT WENT WRONG: Edwards crashed on a late restart in the Chase finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway giving him his sixth DNF of the season.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2016: Edwards enters his 13th full-time season in the Cup Series and his third with Joe Gibbs Racing.
