WHAT WENT RIGHT: Dillon led a career-high 212 laps and finished in the top five in points for the third consecutive season … Qualified for the inaugural Chase ... Led 17 laps and finished second at Homestead-Miami Speedway with new crew chief Matt Swiderski.

WHAT WENT WRONG: It was a struggled for Dillon in 2016 as he went winless for the second straight season and regressed in top-five finishes. Also had fewer top-10 finishes than the last two seasons … Failed to advance out of the first round of the Chase after being involved in a crash in the first race at Kentucky … Led 83 laps at Iowa but finished second after being passed with 16 laps to go.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2017: Dillon moves into the NASCAR premier series full-time with Germain Racing.
