WHAT WENT RIGHT: In his first year with Brad Keselowski Racing, Hemric improved statistically in every category, including career-highs in top five and top-10 finishes … Qualified for the inaugural Chase and finished the regular season tied for the point lead … Finished in the top three in six out of eight races between Gateway and Chicago ... Recorded just one DNF.

WHAT WENT WRONG: A brake issue in the first Chase race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway was too much to overcome and led to his elimination … Went winless on the season, including after he had led 38 laps at Las Vegas and Texas II.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2017: Hemric moves into the Xfinity Series full-time with Richard Childress Racing where he will contend for a Chase spot and Rookie of the Year honors.
