It’s Belk Bowl season!
For those not plugged into the college football world, on Thursday, Charlotte, North Carolina, hosts the Belk Bowl at Bank Of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers.
Every year the Belk Bowl invites teams from the SEC and ACC to take part in the game. This year it’s the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Virginia Tech Hokies.
Each year in the week leading up to the game, both teams visit Charlotte Motor Speedway to enjoy the Richard Petty Driving Experience.
On Monday, players, coaches and athletic directors all donned helmets and fire suits and climbed into slightly powered down stock cars to take laps around the 1.5-mile track.
After that, the teams then visited the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Uptown Charlotte.
Here’s a look at how the day went for the football teams.
