WHAT WENT RIGHT: Won poles for two of the first three races of the year at Atlanta and Las Vegas Motor Speedway ... Saved enough fuel to win the first Pocono race of the season, giving him at least one win in 13 of 16 full-time seasons in the Cup Series ... Qualified for the Chase and advanced to the third round ... Set record by finishing every lap in the first 22 races of the year.

WHAT WENT WRONG: Recorded two DNFs (Bristol II and Darlington) ... Eliminated from Chase after third round ... Only three top fives in Chase ... Crew chief Tony Gibson was suspended for the first Pocono race for violating NASCAR’s lug nut rule.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2016: In his fourth season with Stewart-Haas Racing, Busch will once again drive a Ford, the manufacturer behind Busch’s 2004 Cup Series championship.
