WHAT WENT WRONG: Crashed on Lap 20 of the Daytona 500 and finished 37th ... Recorded two DNFs, including the fall Charlotte race ... Was eliminated from the Chase after the second round ... Lost late leads on restarts in both Michigan races after spinning his tires.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2016: Elliott is still seeking his first premier series win. He’ll make his 42nd series start in the Daytona 500. His predecessor in the No. 24, Jeff Gordon, got his first win in his 42nd start.
