WHAT WENT RIGHT: Wallace tied his career-high of three top-five finishes in a season and qualified for the inaugural Chase in the Xfinity Series ... Advanced to the second round of the Chase ... earned season-best finish of second at Dover I.

WHAT WENT WRONG: Still winless after two full seasons in the Xfinity Series … failed to advance to the final round of the Chase and fell to 11th in points … led a career low 34 laps, which is even worse than the laps he led in just four starts in 2012 … his top-10 finishes decreased from his rookie season (2015) … was fined $15,000 in July for a tweet that likened NASCAR officials to the Muppets

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2017: Nothing has been officially announced, but Wallace could return for his third full season in the Xfinity Series with Roush Fenway Racing where he still seeks his first career win … Will remain a must-follow on social media.
