WHAT WENT WRONG: Only one DNF, in Phoenix II, which eliminated Gaughan from the Chase ... Failed to win for the second year in a row.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2017: At 41, will enter his sixth full-time season in the Xfinity Series with teammates Brandon Jones and rookie Daniel Hemric.
