Being unemployed has its perks, at least for Greg Biffle.

After announcing his departure from Roush Fenway Racing last month and with no plans for the 2017 season having yet been made, it allows Biffle the ability to do things like get back on his dirt. As Biffle tweeted Wednesday, by not being under contract, it allows him to enjoy things away from the track that teams would prefer and sometimes limit drivers from doing for fear of getting injured.

Since his Nov. 21 announcement, the normally quiet and reserved Biffle has been showing off another side of himself on Twitter by sharing his desert adventures and teasing fans about what he could be doing next season.

With nothing yet solidified for 2017, there’s plenty of time for Biffle to continue enjoying himself and publicly showing it as well.
