Rockingham Speedway, which hosted NASCAR Sprint Cup races from 1965-2004, is back on the market.

Iron Horse Properties, LLC, stated on its Facebook page Thursday that the track and its property is for sale for $3,795,000.

Agent Mark Baysek told the Richmond County Daily Journal that the company negotiated with the property owner, BK Rock Holdings, LLC, and signed the deal this week to act as the real estate agent.

The newspaper reported that the track is valued at $6.85 million, according to Richmond County tax records.

Former driver Andy Hillenburg bought the track at auction in 2007. Racing returned there in 2008. The Camping World Truck Series competed at Rockingham in 2012 and ’13. In late 2014, Farmers and Merchants Bank began foreclosure proceedings, according to the Daily Journal.

Among those who won Cup races at the 1.017-mile track formerly known as North Carolina Speedway: Curtis Turner, Richard Petty, Bobby Allison, David Pearson, Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip, Terry Labonte, Bill Elliott, Dale Earnhardt, Rusty Wallace, Alan Kulwicki, Kyle Petty, Ricky Rudd, Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, Dale Jarrett, Bobby Labonte and Matt Kenseth.
