Jimmie Johnson’s Twitter page providing look at championship weekend

Joe Posnanski believes Jimmie Johnson will become the greatest driver ever with a seventh title at Homestead.

As Jimmie Johnson prepares to race for a record-tying seventh Sprint Cup championship, fans can follow his Twitter (@JimmieJohnson) account for a look behind the scenes.

Johson tweeted Thursday morning that Liz Kreutz will be following him all weekend to document his experience. Photos will be posted on his Twitter page leading up to Sunday’s Ford EcoBoost 400 when Johnson goes head-to-head with Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch, and Joey Logano for the championship.

Johnson was already giving Kreutz things to share before he headed to Miami for Championship 4 Media Day.

Johnson also did something unusual ahead of race weekend.

Johnson won his sixth championship in November of 2013. This year was the first time he’s made the Championship 4 with a shot at seventh championship, which would tie him with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt.
