NASCAR's Championship 4 comprised of Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Joey Logano and Carl Edwards sits down with Carolyn Manno ahead of the season finale at Homestead-Miami.

Here is a look at what cars NASCAR Sprint Cup title contenders Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards and Joey Logano will use in Sunday’s race at Homestead-Miami Speedway on NBC.

Jimmie Johnson

Crew chief Chad Knaus says only that they’ll have a good car this weekend as Johnson races for a seventh championship, which would tie him with Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty for the most in the sport’s history. Johnson said recently that the team planned to take a new car and the car he raced at Darlington (started ninth, finished 33rd after an accident) to a wind tunnel to determine which would his primary car for Homestead. Said Knaus: “It was a tough battle trying to figure out which one we wanted to bring.’'

Kyle Busch

He will debut a new car. Busch seeks to become the 11th driver in series history to win at least two consecutive championships. That list includes Buck Baker, Lee Petty, Joe Weatherly, David Pearson, Richard Petty, Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip, Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.

Carl Edwards

He will debut a new car in his bid for his first series title. Crew chief Dave Rogers said of the car: “I think we’re going to have a good piece to race with.’' Edwards’ backup car will be the car he won with two weeks ago at Texas. Edwards was the only one of the four title contenders who took part in the organizational test last month at Homestead. The other drivers had teammates do the test.

Joey Logano

Crew chief Todd Gordon said the car, No. 848, was once used as a test car at Watkins Glen but has won in the past. Said Gordon: “Good car, new body, new body spec. I really look forward to what we can do with it.’'
