NASCAR weekend schedule for Martinsville Speedway

The Camping World Truck and Sprint Cup Series return to Martinsville Speedway this weekend.

Martinsville serves as the first race in the next round in the Chase for both series. The Truck Series field is down to six drivers. The Cup field has been narrowed down to eight.

Both series will be on track Friday, which wraps up with Sprint Cup qualifying for the Goody’s Fast Relief 500.

Friday, Oct. 28

8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Sprint Cup garage open

11 a.m. - 12:25 p.m. - Sprint Cup practice (NBCSN, MRN)

11 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Truck Series garage open

12:30 p.m. - 1:25 p.m. - Truck Series practice (Fox Sports 1)

2:30 - 3:50 p.m. - Final Truck Series practice (Fox Sports 1)

4:40 p.m. - Sprint Cup qualifying; multi-vehicle/three rounds (NBCSN, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)

Saturday, Oct. 29

7 a.m. - Truck Series garage open

7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Sprint Cup garage open

9 a.m. - 9:55 a.m. - Sprint Cup practice (CNBC, MRN)

10:15 a.m. - Truck Series qualifying; multi-vehicle/three rounds (Fox Sports 1)

11:45 a.m. - Truck Series driver/crew chief meeting

12 p.m. - 12:50 p.m. - Final Sprint Cup practice (NBCSN, MRN)

1 p.m. - Truck Series driver introductions

1:30 p.m. - Truck Series Texas Roadhouse 200; 200 laps, 105.2 miles (Fox Sports 1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)

Sunday, Oct. 30

7 a.m. - Sprint Cup garage opens

11 a.m. - Sprint Cup driver/crew chief meeting

12:30 p.m. - Sprint Cup driver introductions

1 p.m. - Sprint Cup Goody’s Fast Relief 500; 500 laps, 263 miles (NBCSN, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)
