Watch LIVE: NASCAR America at 6 p.m. ET: Kansas recap

Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs for 90 minutes on NBCSN beginning at 6 p.m. ET and recaps all of the action this weekend from Kansas Speedway.
Carolyn Manno and Parker Kligerman are in the studio in Stamford, Connecticut. Jeff Burton and Kyle Petty will be from Burton’s Garage.

On today’s show:

  • We’ll have reaction from Kevin Harvick following his win at Kansas on Sunday. He became the second driver to advance to the Round of 8. We look at his success under the Chase Grid format and his ability to advance to each round since it was implemented in 2014.
  • Chase Elliott took the lead from Kevin Harvick but shortly thereafter, tire troubles struck the rookie driver. He eventually finished 31st. Teammate Kasey Kahne had a similar issue, what does that mean for Hendrick Motorsports going forward?
  • The Xfinity Series Chase heated up on Saturday. Sprint Cup Series regular Kyle Busch won the race blocking anyone from advancing to the Championship 4. A majority of Xfinity races this season have been won by Sprint Cup drivers. Should Cup regulars be able to compete in Xfinity Chase races? We’ll have what NASCAR’s Steve O’Donnell says on this ongoing issue.
