Blake Koch fastest in first Xfinity practice at Kansas

Blake Koch produced the fastest speed of the first Xfinity Series practice at Kansas Speedway.

Koch, who drives for a one-car team and is in the Xfinity Chase, posted a lap at 182.137 mph. The No. 11 car was the only one to top 182 mph in the session.

Koch was followed by Erik Jones (181.038), Kyle Busch (180.445), Daniel Suarez (179.790) and Ty Dillon (179.790).

The most laps in the session were recorded by Brennan Poole and Martin Roy (33).

Poole had the best 10-lap average at 176.307 mph.
