Darrell Wallace Jr. admittedly struggled at Charlotte Motor Speedway, which was a race that was postponed because of rain and then run late Sunday afternoon.
On Thursday’s episode of NASCAR America, Wallace phoned in to discuss how his No. 6 Roush Fenway Racing team is still searching for an answer when it comes to daytime races.
“We’ve just been struggling,” Wallace said. “To finish 20th, I think three laps down, and we still made it (into the second round) by one (point), luck was on our side and the good lord upstairs was looking over us. But we should be running well inside the top 10, especially at Charlotte where we run really well, we shouldn’t have that type of day.”
