Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and begins looking forward to Kansas Speedway.

Carolyn Manno hosts from Stamford, Connecticut. Kelli Stavast, Jeff Burton, and Dale Jarrett will join her from NBC Charlotte.

  • After breaking a 24-race winless drought Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Jimmie Johnson breaks down the Bank of America 500 and advancing to the Round of 8 in the Chase.

  • Dale Earnhardt Jr. spent time at Martinsville Speedway today where it was announced the track will install lights for 2017. Earnhardt caught up with NASCARTalk writer Dustin Long to discuss that and much more

  • After advancing to the second round of the Xfinity Series Chase following a sixth-place finish at Charlotte, we hear from Justin Allgaier as he gets ready for Kansas Speedway

  • Brendan Gaughan also advanced to the second round of the Xfinity Series Chase. We talk with the only remaining Richard Childress Racing driver in the playoffs

  • The NHL season begins tonight so we quiz NASCAR drivers on their hockey knowledge
