NASCAR Saturday schedule at Chicagoland Speedway

The Xfinity Series will finalize its 12-driver Chase grid today at Chicagoland Speedway.

The 200-mile event on NBC is the main attraction at the 1.5-mile speedway today, following two Sprint Cup Series practice sessions. Their Cup playoffs begin Sunday afternoon on NBCSN.

Here is Saturday’s schedule

(All times are Eastern)

8 a.m. - Xfinity Series garage opens

8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Sprint Cup garage opens

10:30 a.m. - 11:25 a.m. - second Sprint Cup practice (CNBC, MRN)

11:45 a.m. - Xfinity qualifying; multi-vehicle, three rounds (NBCSN)

1:15 p.m. - Xfinity driver/crew chief meeting

1:30 p.m. - 2:20 p.m. - final Sprint Cup practice (NBCSN, MRN)

2:30 p.m. - Xfinity driver introductions

3:00 p.m. - Xfinity Series Drive for Safety 300; 200 laps, 300 miles (NBC, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)
