NASCAR will hold a two-day organizational test for Sprint Cup teams on Aug. 23-24 at Chicagoland Speedway ahead of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 on Sept. 18.

As an organizational test, one car from each Sprint Cup team will be permitted at the test.

The Sept. 18 race marks the beginning of the 10-race Chase for the Sprint Cup postseason. The race is the only Sprint Cup event held at the 1.5-mile track. Denny Hamlin is the defending winner of the race.

There are currently four races left in the regular season, which concludes Sept. 10 at Richmond International Raceway.

The Chicagoland test will be held the week of the Aug. 28 race at Michigan International Speedway.
