A special edition of NASCAR America will carry Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s press conference from Watkins Glen International live at noon ET on NBCSN. You also can watch on NBC Sports or the NBC Sports app.

The press conference will be Earnhardt’s first media availability since he was sidelined for a concussion following the July 9 race at Kentucky Speedway. Earnhardt has missed three races and will sit out at least two more, including Sunday’s race at Watkins Glen and the Bristol night race in two weeks.

Earnhardt has been substituted by Alex Bowman (New Hampshire) and Jeff Gordon (Indianapolis, Pocono) who will continue in the No. 88 at WGI and Bristol.

Earnhardt’s only public comments in the last month have been through his Dale Jr. Download podcast (here and here), Twitter and in press releases.

If you are not near a TV, you can watch Earnhardt’s press conference online or on the NBC Sports app at the NASCAR stream on NBC Sports.

If you plan to stream the coverage on your laptop or portable device, be sure to have your username and password from your cable/satellite/telco provider handy so your subscription can be verified.

Once you enter that information, you’ll have access to the stream.
