Oops! Jeff Gordon’s uniform has quite a mistake on it

Jeff Gordon’s return to racing didn’t go quite smoothly Friday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway -- that was before he got into his car.

No, Gordon, who is subbing for Dale Earnhardt Jr., didn’t try to climb into the No. 24 car.

Instead, Gordon’s driver’s uniform had quite a mistake. It listed the incorrect dates of his four Sprint Cup championships.

Gordon’s public relations manager posted a photo of Gordon’s uniform that lists Gordon’s four Sprint Cup championships as 2006, ’07, ’08 and ’09 -- all years teammate Jimmie Johnson won the crown.

Gordon’s championships came in 1995, ’97, ;98 and 2001.

It remains to be seen if another uniform will be sent to Gordon in time for Sunday’s Brickyard 400 on NBCSN.
