ROSSBURG, Ohio -- Cody Coughlin and Rico Abreu advanced to the Aspen Dental Dirt Derby 150 by claiming the top two spots Wednesday in the 15-lap last chance qualifier at Eldora Speedway.

Abreu, who had wrecked with Travis Kvapil in the third heat race, rebounded in his repaired No. 98 Toyota. The two-time Chili Bowl winner is a Camping World Truck Series rookie but has spent much of his career on dirt tracks, including the half-mile track at Eldora.

Failing to advance to the main event through the qualifier were Austin Wayne Self, Chris Fontaine, Wayne Edwards, Norm Benning, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Sean Corr, Jordan Anderson, Travis Kvapil and Caleb Roark.
