Erik Jones wins pole for Xfinity Series race at Pocono

Erik Jones will be the pole-sitter for the inaugural Xfinity Series race at Pocono Raceway.

Jones earned the pole for the Pocono Green 250 with a speed of 175.926 mph. It’s the fifth pole of the season for the rookie driver.

Jones is joined on the front row by his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Kyle Busch.

The top five is filled out by Daniel Suarez, Kyle Larson and Joey Logano.

Darrell Wallace Jr. will start last after spinning during his qualifying run in the first round.
