When Matt Kenseth won Sunday at Dover International Speedway, it was the 135th victory for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Sprint Cup Series.
JGR is now tied with Roush Fenway Racing for third all-time among teams.
On Tuesday, JGR revealed that Kyle Busch’s paint scheme for the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway would be an ode to its very first win, 23 years ago.

Busch’s No. 18 car will look just like it did - sponsor and all - on Feb. 14, 1993. That was the day Dale Jarrett pulled off a shocking win in the Daytona 500, which was the start of JGR’s second season in NASCAR. This year marks the 25th anniversary of JGR’s founding.
The Southern 500 is set for Sept. 4 on NBC.
