Stewart-Haas Racing shows off Kurt Busch’s Darlington paint scheme

Kurt Busch 3

Stewart-Haas Racing will pay tribute to the history of owner Gene Haas’ company Haas Automation in the Southern 500.

Kurt Busch’s No. 41 car will have a paint scheme based on the VF-1, the first CNC machine built by Haas Automation in 1988.

In the 2015 Darlington race, Busch’s car sported the first paint scheme used by Haas when he entered NASCAR as an owner in 2002.

Busch’s paint scheme joins those already announced for Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

The Southern 500 is scheduled for Sept. 4 on NBC.
