A spokesperson for Auto Club Speedway told NBC Sports that a local company was contacted to relocate the bees. The company will have someone at the track the rest of the weekend.
NASCAR stated it would use a temporary flag stand for Friday night’s Sprint Cup qualifying.
Bees at Auto Club Speedway are not a new issue.
Bees formed multiple hives underneath the raised car lift of Derrike Cope’s hauler last year.
