Even though he’s recovering from a back injury and resulting surgery, you can’t keep Tony Stewart away from a racetrack, it seems.
Stewart, who injured his back while driving a sand rail in the Southern California desert late last month, made an unannounced appearance Friday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Stewart did not speak to the media, but as you can see from the following tweet and attached Fox Sports 1 video clip, he talked strategy and gameplans withTy Dillon, who will replace Stewart in the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet in Sunday’s Sprint Cup race at AMS.
