As we continue to examine key statistics in the 2015 Sprint Cup Series season ...

Looking at many of the Sprint Cup race winners in both 2014 and 2015, there is a distinct contrast between the two seasons.

Drivers who won multiple races in 2014 may have won just one race in 2015. Likewise, there were some who failed to win (or earned just one win) in 2014 , only to rally with multiple victories this past season.

All told, Joey Logano was the winningest driver during the first two seasons contested under a new qualifying and playoff format in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Logano earned a combined 11 wins in 2014 and 2015, including a series-high six this past season.

The biggest gainer in wins in 2015 from 2014 was Matt Kenseth with five wins, while new champ Kyle Busch was second-highest with four more wins in 2015 than 2014.

By comparison, Logano’s Team Penske teammate, Brad Keselowski, had the biggest drop in wins from 2014 (a series high 6) to 2015 (just 1).
