AVONDALE, Ariz. -- Timothy Peters led the final 28 laps to win Friday night’s Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix International Raceway. John Hunter Nemechek placed second with John Wes Townley third.

Series points leader Erik Jones placed ninth after he was involved in an incident with Matt Crafton racing for the lead late in the race. Crafton, who finished 23rd, took the blame for the contact.
