Sprint Cup driver points following Bank of America 500

Joey Logano took command of the Chase for the Sprint Cup with his win the Bank of America 500, which clinched him a spot in the third round.

Kevin Harvick jumped 10 spots to second in the points standings with his second-place finish.

Driver losing spots in the standings were Denny Hamlin (third), Carl Edwards (sixth), Kyle Busch (10th) and with his 42nd-place finish, Matt Kenseth is 12th. That puts him 32 points behind the cutoff spot in eighth.

The four drivers currently below the cutoff are Ryan Newman, Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kenseth.
