Today’s NASCAR Xfinity race at Watkins Glen: Start time, TV information and more

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. — The NASCAR Xfinity Series will play host Saturday to the Zippo 200 at the Glen at Watkins Glen International.

Here are the particulars (all times are ET):

START: Sawyer Fredericks, winner of the eighth season of The Voice, will give the command for drivers to start their engines at 3:08 p.m. ET. The green flag is scheduled for 3:19 p.m.

DISTANCE: The race is scheduled for 82 laps (200.9 miles) around the 2.45-mile road course.

PRERACE SCHEDULE: The Xfinity garage opens at 9 a.m. The drivers meeting is at 12:45 p.m. Driver introductions are at 2:30 p.m.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: It will be performed by Fredericks.

TV/RADIO: NBCSN will broadcast the race (and streaming available at http://stream.nbcsports.com/liveextra), starting with Countdown to Green at 2:30 p.m. Motor Racing Network will broadcast the race on radio and at MRN.com. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will carry MRN’s broadcast.

FORECAST: The wunderground.com site predicts 77 degrees at race time with a 5% chance of rain.

LAST TIME: Marcos Ambrose led 48 of 82 laps for his fourth Xfinity win at the track.

STARTING LINEUP: Qualifying will be held at 11:15 a.m. ET
